My journey with BodyTalk began in 2012 — first as a client. I came looking for relief, and what I found went beyond it. I experienced, and continue to experience, results I hadn't found in any other modality. From the very start I was captivated by how this work holds two things at once: it is deeply logical, built on real study of the body, and it is deeply intuitive. I've been diving further into it ever since.
Structured intuition
People sometimes expect energy work to be vague — all feeling, no ground. That's not how I work. I use the intuitive, right-brained part of me, yes, but always in a structured way, anchored in what I've studied about the physical body, the emotional body, and the beliefs we carry. To practice BodyTalk well, you have to understand how these systems actually function. The intuition doesn't replace the knowledge — it moves through it.
Grounded enough for your logical mind, spacious enough for your intuition.
A life like most people's
Another thing that shapes how I work: I didn't disconnect from the world to dedicate myself to this. I have a life like most people — a family, a child, a job, sometimes more than one at a time. Not something I'm proud of, exactly, but honest. BodyTalk showed me that my own fragmentation has limits, and I chose to embrace this philosophy while living an ordinary life, not by stepping out of it.
I think that's part of what I bring to a session. I'm not speaking to you from a mountaintop. I meet you as a person who also knows what it is to be stretched thin, to hold a lot, to need somewhere to set it down.
How I hold the work
Five words guide me, and you'll feel them in a session:
Listening, because your body is already speaking. Presence, because healing needs someone actually there. Detachment, so I can follow what is rather than what I want to find. Intuition, as a tool held with care. And surrender — the hardest and most freeing — trusting the process to move at the pace it needs.
In two languages
I offer sessions in both English and Portuguese, in person at my practice space in St. Petersburg, Florida, or online from wherever you are. Whichever language your body thinks and feels in, we can work there.
